Bridging the gap between the point of injury and EMS arrival.

Situation

SECONDS MATTER. The leading cause of preventable death is hemorrhage control. Our EMS and first responders are exhausted. Every citizen can help by learning the fundamental lifesaving Stop the Bleed process that threatens every part of the planet. It’s a global problem that requires global cooperation.

ACTIVE SHOOTER! Since Columbine in 1999, there have been about 235 school shootings and over 300 fatalities. Many citizens do not know basic medical concepts to stop the bleed.

TRAUMA IS REAL. It is imperative to learn how to train and protect yourself and others around you in an emergency. With the realism of the training Mission Medic stimulates, you will be more prepared for when you experience a real-life emergency scenario.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create an international consensus around trauma response and a shared plan for saving lives. We offer a multitude of different courses related to safety training. Our approach highlights working on the amygdala in the brain, which will be responsible for some of the fear and anxiety you can experience during traumatic incidents. By providing realistic training equipment and aids (i.e., legs, arms, full-scale mannequins) with different wound patterns, you observe something as authentic as possible and receive immediate feedback.

For our courses, we mimic reality and focus on endless repetition. By doing the skills repeatedly with a realistic presentation of a traumatic situation, you are prepared to handle the situation and not be much of a shock to your amygdala in real life. The goal is to become more comfortable managing a multi-system traumatic civilian where you feel well-versed in your ability to help.

Your Action

Mission Medics is a mobile training team that brings real-world experience to your company, school, or government agency, teaching citizens how to be effective civilian first responders.

As a civilian, what you can do to impact your community is begin your journey learning and understanding the basics of medical training.

Accidents happen every day, and with an increase in violence, shootings, and natural disasters, the need for civilians to proactively respond to a traumatic event is evident now more than ever.

Organizations have an opportunity to prevent future suffering by empowering their tribe with training that saves lives.
